East beaches
Located between Ribadedeva and Llanes, around the environment many curious cliffs, caves, sinks and blowholes can be found due to the karstification of the terrain. Many of its emblematic and crystal-clear beaches are protected in different grades because its vegetation, morphology or the presence of marine bird nesting.
The beaches of La Franca, la Ballota and Gulpiyuri are located here, among others.
West beaches
Many beaches and seafaring villages can be found in this stretch of coast between Muros de Nalón and Castropol (in the border with Galicia). This coast preserves an endless number of landscapes, coves and virgin beaches, which can only be accessed by walking, perfects for taking a rest and enjoy the most authentic environment of the Asturias coastline.
Here you can find beaches as those of Barayo, Coedo and Fabal, among others.
